Shop my outfit: Kentucky Football Hoodie
It’s finally football season in the Bluegrass, y’all! t’s been such an insane year, and I’m so excited to finally have college football returning today. You know, real SEC football.
Shop my outfit: Kentucky Wildcats SEC Shirt (Men’s version here)
Now, football season looks a little different for most of us this year. We’ll be sitting at home rather than tailgating. We’ll be cheering our favorite teams from our couches, not our home stadiums. That gives us even more reason to stock up on new team gear for the football season! I’ve teamed up with Fanatics.com to show you some of my favorite gear for at-home football viewing.
This SEC Football tee — BBN edition is so cute. They have a version for every SEC school! I think I’ll spend all fall in my Football in the Bluegrass Hoodie. It makes me feel a little closer to all the fun of Lexington on Game Day!
I ordered Bob this amazing lightweight sweatshirt from Fanatics and I’m so in love with it that I may just need to order one for myself. It’s just the most incredible texture and weight!
Fanatics has some great pieces for everyone in your family. I love the SEC branded mask, the classic women’s fleece jacket, and the vintage Wildcat hoodie. Fanatics has great prices, fast shipping, and a fabulous selection. You can be well-dressed for the big game, even if you can’t make it there in person!
Happy Caturday, y’all! Here’s to lots of football!!

Holiday Gift Guide for the Kentucky Wildcats Fan
What’s your favorite present, baby? Blue and White!
{This year, I’ve decided to do something a little different. Rather than typical blogger gift guides — we all know that you can get Diptyque candles at Nordstrom if you care to spend that much for them — I’ve put together a set of gift guides that speak to the interests of HerKentucky fans. Some links will generate nominal affiliate income at no cost to the reader. All opinions are, as always, my own.}

I am so excited for the opening of The Summit at Fritz Farm in Lexington, y'all. No matter how long it's been since I lived there, Lexington just always feels like home - I have so many family and friends there, Bob and I both went to undergrad and grad school there, and then there are our Wildcats. We aren't just "wear blue and white on game day" Wildcats fans. We're thinking about our 'Cats every day of the year. So, of course, we were so excited when Alumni Hall sent us some fun UK gear to celebrate the opening of their Summit at Fritz Farm store and to get us ready for the upcoming season -- as we all know, basketball season is always almost here in Kentucky!

Kentucky Against The World
How's y'all's holiday shopping coming along? Every year, it seems like there are some folks on my list for whom Christmas presents are very easy to buy, and others that are really, really tough. If you have the same problem, then HerKentucky is here to help! For the next few weeks, we'll be spotlighting one gift per day to help you find the right present to round out your holiday shopping!
Today's find is this awesome "Kentucky Against the World" shirt from 2Nostalgik. I LOVE this shirt, both in tee and sweatshirt versions! The creative force behind 2Nostalgik, Brittany Morton, is a Kentucky girl living in Los Angeles, and she's done an amazing job of getting a fun message on the perfect shade of blue.

I love to wear mine on game days. It kind of reminds me of Coach Cal's saying that every team plays their Super Bowl against UK.
Happy shopping, y'all!
